The power of those beliefs was tested in July 2009, when Lee was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. In his own life, happily married and the proud father of two remarkable children, Lee was similarly committed to living his life fully and gratefully each day. from Enjoy Every SandwichĪs medical director of the famed Preventive Medicine Research Institute, Lee Lipsenthal helped thousands of patients struggling with disease to overcome their fears of pain and death and to embrace a more joyful way of living. I hope it will open the door for you to embrace your humanity, accept uncertainty, and live a life of gratitude. We Thank Lee for her Outstanding, Friendly Service. This book is a culmination of what I’ve learned. If it hadn't been for Lee we would not have wanted to return. She smiled and made our lunch worth waiting for. Lee was very Friendly and a very nice Lady. When we explained we had been there for an while and no one had taken our order, and some guests had come in after us and had their order taken, she kept her her smile, said she would be our waitress, then took our order right away. We were about to leave when a waitress named Lee stopped and asked if we had our order taken. Waited for a while (half hour) some other guests were seated and their order taken. There was an hour wait, they called us in half the time. We stopped in the Columbia House Restaurant to have lunch. lady there was very friendly and the gentleman there showed us the guns on display. lots of fun and the driver stopped by a tree where he told a story of a stage robber. While in Sonora California, my Wife and I visited Columbia State Historic Park.
